Alison Johnstone

I have been both a client-side and agency-side researcher, and trained by the Market Research Society. I live in Glasgow, Scotland and have successfully worked remotely with national teams and international clients since 2014.

I have delivered professional workshops and webinars about online engagement techniques, and training on how to turn data into insight, and the importance of good design in visual data reporting.

Before working for myself, I held research positions at the BBC, JCDecaux and a full-service market research agency based in London. My roles have included project management, customer insight, user experience, audience development, and media planning. I was also once a terrible Personal Assistant - I mean really bad.

I work to MRS Code of Conduct, adhering to Data Protection and GDPR best practices and in line with ISO 20252 standards. I am registered with ICO, and have Personal Indemnity insurance.
